Help us make birthdays special for every child in foster care.

The "wish!" program is working toward providing EVERY child in foster care in the 25th Circuit (Maries, Phelps, Pulaski, and Texas Counties) with all the needs for a birthday celebration.

CASA will work with our partners on each child's Family Support Team to share with the children’s families and placement providers the opportunity to receive a birthday bag for their child on their birthday.

Each bag will come with all of the items needed to have a birthday party for the child. These items will include

• A cake mix, icing, and candles
• Plates, napkins, and plasticware
• One or two age appropriate gifts and/or books
• Birthday wrapping and/or gift bags and bows
• Other items that will help make each child’s birthday special.

This project was started through a grant provided through the TKD Foundation. CASA has worked alongside the TKD Foundation to provide community projects that meet the need of our areas’ children.

At this time, only children who are in the foster care system are eligible for this program and an application must be completed and returned at least two weeks in advance of the child’s birthday.
