8th Annual Festival of Trees: A Cozy CASA Christmas

At CASA of South Central Missouri, our mission is to advocate for the most vulnerable members of our community—children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Each year, numerous abused and neglected children across Phelps, Pulaski, Texas, and Maries Counties find themselves navigating the family court system, as living safely at home becomes an impossibility for them.

These children deserve a voice and an advocate who will tirelessly champion their best interests. CASA fulfills that crucial role by providing dedicated volunteers who are trained and supported to prioritize these children's needs.

Our Impact in 2023

In 2023, CASA of South Central Missouri provided crucial advocacy for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Here are some highlights of our achievements:

• 151 Volunteers: With your support, we were able to recruit and train 151 dedicated volunteers who served as advocates for 417 children in need.
• Advocacy Hours: Our volunteers spent a total of 3,282 hours advocating tirelessly for the best interests of these children, ensuring they received the care and attention they deserved.
• Miles Traveled: To ensure that every child's voice was heard in court, our volunteers drove a staggering 48,414 miles across the state, demonstrating their commitment to serving the children of South Central Missouri.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will not only contribute to the recruitment and advocacy efforts of CASA but will also support additional programs, such as our Wish! Birthday Program. This program provides the opportunity for EVERY local child in foster care, regardless of whether they have a CASA, to have a birthday gift and everything needed to celebrate (candles, cake mix, napkins, and all the party essentials).
