Secondary Traumatic Stress Disorder, also known as Compassion Fatigue, is a common challenge in the non-profit realm. Over time, the passion that drives us can lead to feeling drained and empty. By tapping into powerful yet simple acts, participants will learn to reignite their intrinsic motivation and make purpose-driven work feel energizing again.

Life is sure to present its fair share of hard knocks, however people can put themselves in better or worse positions to handle the challenges that comes with it. Similar to an athlete preparing for competition, there are simple, effective strategies that can be practiced that will help a person successfully navigate the expected and unexpected strains and stresses of life with greater peace and health. This interactive discussion will both inform and motivate, so be prepared to take action!

A former CASA kiddo turned CASA Champion shares her inspiring journey of how one volunteer made a transformative difference in her life. This session will energize and motivate non-profit staff and volunteers, emphasizing the profound impact of advocacy and the power of driving change, one person at a time.
